![]() You could try physical gears if you can afford one, else virtualize them. I'm working on making it more "user friendly" (my original goal was to replicate the functions of the Server in Packet Tracer), at which point I may share it with the community for others to use. When you wanted to build and practice Paloalto lab, you have got multiple options. I actually made a Server Appliance running Ubuntu Server 18.04 with RADIUS/TACACS+, DNS, DHCP, Syslog, TFTP, HTTP, and SNMP Manager, etc functionality preinstalled to use in my topologies. If you can implement a network in GNS3, you can do it in the real world. I've set up topologies with numerous switches, routers, firewalls (with genuine IOS running), servers (running genuine full copies of Ubunutu Server), and end devices running full copies of Kali and Windows. However, if you have the time and resources, it's worth the effort. Once you get it installed, you'll spend a lot of time getting it set up in a usable way. It also requires a lot more processing power, RAM, and storage compared to other tools. The downsides are that it is much more complicated to set up as you need to find, download, and install all of the IOS software you intend to use. It is more accurate and you can perform a lot more functions than you can with most other network training software. Each device that you add to your topology acts like a mini emulator with it's own copy of IOS.
